A free, one-day online summit exploring how changing environments — physical and relational — can help more people participate, belong and thrive. Hosted by Sensory Integration Education and Sensory Inclusive Schools on Tuesday 13 October 2026, it features a programme of leading UK voices from education, health, social care and community settings, and is open to anyone interested in sensory inclusion.

Sessions are pre-recorded, neuro-affirming in tone, and packed with practical environmental adaptations you can take straight back to your own setting. It's free to attend, free for 7 days after opening, and attendees receive a CPD certificate — plus the chance to win a free place on the Sensory Inclusion Facilitator Certificate.

Sensory Friendly Inpatient Environments

The Sensory Friendly Inpatient Environments project was a one-off award-winning project funded by NHS England to improve the experience of individuals affected by sensory processing issues on inpatient mental health wards. The National Sensory Network was established as part of this project.
